How the heck do I keep track of the amounts used and current balance of these certificates? The only thing I can think of is to run them through as a layaway. The software has two functions, Gift Cards and Coupons. Coupons are a one time credit off a single sale. Gift Cards are like pre-loaded credit cards. Read the posting about Gift Cards to see how to set them up. |

i too have gift cards, but are provided by Chase Payment tech. My issue is when i post my Z-Out report to the accounting system (manually) i am always out when a gift card is purchased or charged, not when redeemed. how do i prevent this from happening? I have created a Gift Card product, checked off the "non inventory item" in options? |
