I'm using POS 10 in my bike shop. I have buisness card sized gift certificates made up and ready to use. How the heck do I keep track of the amounts used and current balance of these certificates? The only thing I can think of is to run them through as a layaway. Is there a better, easier way to do it?

The software has two functions, Gift Cards and Coupons. Coupons are a one time credit off a single sale. Gift Cards are like pre-loaded credit cards. Read the posting about Gift Cards to see how to set them up. |

i too have gift cards, but are provided by Chase Payment tech. My issue is when i post my Z-Out report to the accounting system (manually) i am always out when a gift card is purchased or charged, not when redeemed. how do i prevent this from happening? I have created a Gift Card product, checked off the "non inventory item" in options? |

i have both new version and 10.71 pro. the Gift Card option is available in 11, but not in 10.71. Just coupon etc. what can i do to this.?
