Any sale in the Sales screen can be turned into a quote. Quotes can be used over and over as you may get simalar quote request. You can enter a sale and save it as a quote. That saves it in the quote area separate from sales. Here is a typical procedure:
1) Enter a sale like normal Just don't Finish it.
2) Use the Print Quote to hand it to the customer.
3) If they want to purchase it right there use the Finish button to complete the sale.
4) If they don't want to purchase it right now you can use the Quote Save and then clear the sale.
5) When they return to make the purchase use the Quote Find to load the quote into the sales screen. Use the Finish button to complete the sale.
6) You can optionally use the Quote Find and right mouse click on the quote to delete it.
